At Lendy we recognise the importance of being responsible corporate citizens, and take responsibility for the direct and indirect impact of our activities on various stakeholders, including: customers, suppliers, employees, stakeholders, communities and the environment.
While we are still a young company, we are also keen to provide support, experience and financial help to a number of organisations.
See who we have supported so farOur most recent activity has included our title sponsorship of Lendy Cowes Week 2018, which brought many benefits to the world-renowned sailing regatta. And our plans for the 2019 regatta will be even bigger and better.
In 2018, we will also supporting the official Lendy Cowes Week charity, The 1851 Trust. With the Duchess of Cambridge as its patron, The 1851 Trust is an innovative education charity committed to exciting more young people about the opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
Last year Lendy provided both resources and financial support to The Andrew Simpson Foundation whose aim is to give thousands of children and young people the chance to enjoy the life-changing challenges of sailing.
With a focus on the well-being of the young, we are also very proud to be a new sponsor of The Martin Roberts Foundation and its highly original campaigns on behalf of Childline. The foundation is the brainchild of TV presenter and property expert, Martin Roberts, as a way to support carefully selected educational and well-being initiatives for children and young people. In a world where childhood mental health issues are making the headlines regularly, The Foundation wants to show children that there is help is out there, no matter how big or small the problem is.
Lendy is also very proud to sponsor two young tennis players - Katy Dunne and Harriet Dart - who have both risen in the WTA world rankings over the past 12 months, and competed in the singles, ladies’ doubles and mixed doubles at The Championships - Wimbledon in 2018.
