P2P platform Lendy reinforces its ranks with the appointment of Terry Pritchard as Head of Origination
Lendy, Europe’s leading peer-to-peer secured property platform, is pleased to announce the appointment of Terry Pritchard as Head of Origination.
Terry has over 30 years of experience in senior origination roles in the commercial mortgage sector, at firms including Edeus, Providence Financial, Chase, Charterhouse and Grays Inn Capital. This has resulted in Terry building one of the most extensive contact lists in the financial services industry. Terry joins Lendy from Channel Equity Finance, where he was Managing Director.
Terry will be responsible for building Lendy’s key relationships with brokers and developers across the property lending sector. His experience of working with senior stakeholders will help continue to grow the platform’s origination.
Lendy has provided £408million in lending to the UK property sector since 2012, with £100million in the past year alone. It recently secured full FCA authorisation.
Says Lendy CEO Liam Brooke: “We are delighted to welcome Terry to Lendy at a crucial stage of the company’s expansion.
“Terry’s move to the P2P sector is even more significant given his track record at high profile institutions. His move highlights how important the P2P sector is in property funding, and how much it has matured and established itself.”
Terry Pritchard says: “The P2P sector is now playing a significant role in getting finance to developers – it’s now the place to be to get deals done. I’m looking forward to continuing to deliver lending that gets spades in the grounds, and delivers returns to Lendy’s investors.”
